Talene Staab

As Vice President & Global Head, Tru by Hilton, Talene Lanuza Staab serves as the chief strategist and champion for Tru by Hilton – the fastest hotel brand to launch in industry history. In her role, she is responsible for driving Tru by Hilton’s product and service positioning, distribution strategies, and owner relations.

Prior to this, as Vice President, Owner Experience & Engagement, Staab oversaw the team responsible for advancing overall owner value and satisfaction, building a best-in-class experience for Hilton’s owner community. Staab also served as Senior Director, Brand Performance & Support, Canopy by Hilton, where she focused on the brand’s development and was instrumental in advancing its service and hospitality culture.

Staab, a seasoned hospitality leader with more than 25 years of experience with Hilton, started her career at Hilton as the group sales manager for Embassy Suites San Diego – La Jolla before becoming the director of sales for the hotel. Throughout her tenure at Hilton, she worked across various teams and brands, providing her with a unique understanding of the hospitality industry.

Staab credits her passion for hospitality to her parents’ restaurant in Boston, where everyone became a “regular” and home cooking was the specialty.

Staab holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband Tony, daughter Arika, son Anthony and Cairn Terrier Stewie.

Elaine Molinar

Elaine Molinar is an architect and Managing Partner of Snøhetta’s US offices. Since its inception, the practice has maintained its original trans-disciplinary approach, integrating architecture, landscape and interior design in all its projects.

Since starting her career as a designer of the Library of Alexandria in Egypt Elaine has held key positions in many of Snøhetta’s notable works, including the Norwegian National Opera, the National September 11th Memorial Museum Pavilion, the James B. Hunt Library at North Carolina State University, and most recently the El Paso Children’s Museum.


Elaine received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is a LEED accredited professional. Elaine is a 2019 recipient of the Texas Medal of Arts and serves on the board of trustees of the Van Alen Institute.

Laurie Miller

Ms. Miller is the Managing Principal of Anderson/Miller, Ltd., with overall responsibilities for coordination, design and management of the Chicago and Detroit offices. As a twenty year plus veteran in the field of four and five-star Interior Architecture and Design work, she has brought her creative design and architectural insight to award winning custom projects for most of the major hospitality brands and conceived of the AML design philosophy of “Everything Matters”.  In addition to her work in the hospitality sector, Ms. Miller has also had the opportunity to complete a number of luxury residential projects, including condominiums, vacation homes and single family residences.  Ms. Miller is the former president of the board of Foundations of Music, a current board member of the Chicago-based arts and social justice organization, Changing Worlds…and a proud Girl Scout Leader.

Christine Magrann

Christine Magrann has more than 25 years’ experience at some of the top culinary and hospitality concepts in the country including Hillstone Restaurants, The Breakers, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center.


Christine also spent 14 years with one of Dallas’ most influential restaurant groups, Consilient Restaurants, where she held roles such as Director of Operations and Vice President of Leadership Development. While with Consilient, Magrann played a key role in helping create one of Dallas’ most vibrant dining districts and led a team of 10 award-winning and independent restaurants across the country.


In 2014, Christine led Consilient through an ownership change and rebrand. And, as the Executive Officer of Talent and Operations for the newly named Raised Palate Restaurants, she successfully executed real estate and branding changes to reset the company’s growth and expansion strategy.


Christine currently serves as COO for Makeready, which is designed from the ground up to create truly independent hotel, restaurant, and retail brands with individual points of view.

Laura Benner

Laura Benner, based in New York, NY, is the Senior Vice President of Hotel Asset Management at Colony Capital, Inc., a leading global real estate and investment management firm.  As a hotel real estate executive who has worked within the hospitality industry for more than 20 years with such prestigious firms as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Host Hotels & Resorts, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Fairmont, and HVS, Ms. Benner oversees the asset management of 164 hotels owned by Colony Capital, Inc.


Ms. Benner is a graduate of Cornell University’s Hotel School and she has her MBA from the University of Southern California where she received a Dean’s Account Fellowship.  Ms. Benner is a member of several hospitality and hotel asset management organizations including HAMA (Hospitality Asset Managers Association), the Cornell Hotel Society, Marriott’s Capital Asset Planning & Execution (CAPE) Committee, and WHIN (the Women’s Hotel Investment Network).

Allison Barry

Allison Barry believes in the transformative power of art to tell the unique story behind every space. As a Principal at the award-winning international art consultancy Kevin Barry Fine Art, she leads a team of more than 50 talented consultants across three locations sourcing art for interior designers, architects and private clients. Bringing both recognized and emerging names in local and global contemporary art to clients such as Four Seasons, The Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, Google and Hard Rock Hotels to name a few. When not on a flight heading to her next client meeting, you can find Allison at home in Los Angeles where she resides with her family.
