Norma’s career began with Hilton’s Fontainebleau followed by the The Waldorf-Astoria and New York Hilton.
After raising two daughters she returned as Project Director/Interiors opening the Castle at Tarrytown. She was then recruited to be Pre-opening Director of Operations for Blue Hill at Stone Barns
Norma left renowned Blue Hill to open her own all-natural organic Café Norma. After five successful years and a New York Times “Excellent” review, an opportunity for her husband DC presented and they moved to Shanghai, China.
Upon returning Norma oversaw the PIP and multi-million-dollar redevelopment of the Wyndham Orlando Resort, followed by the PIP for the Shelborne South Beach. Here, she hired and directed consultants, architects, interior designers, etc.
Current projects include Ritz Carlton South Beach (376 guestrooms), Ritz Carlton Bal Harbor guestroom renovation and the 250-key new-build Ritz Carlton Nomad under construction in Manhattan.
Norma sits on the FIU Advisory Board and guest lectures for NYU’s Hospitality program.
