Colleen Brooks
Co-Founder & PresidentMoss New YorkColleen Brooks is the Co-Founder and President of Moss New York, a private members’ club at 520 Fifth Avenue bringing together hospitality, culture, wellness, and community under one roof. Before founding Moss, Colleen spent nearly a decade in finance, investing, and capital markets, with experience at JPMorgan and Fortress Investment Group, where she worked in capital formation for the firm’s private equity funds. That financial and analytical foundation has informed a career increasingly focused on building businesses at the intersection of hospitality, membership, and community. She later co-founded Highcourt with her sister, Hailey Brooks, an early private-club concept in downtown Manhattan that helped shape their thinking around membership, community, and the role of hospitality in creating belonging. At Moss, Colleen has led the business and operational development of the club from concept through opening, overseeing areas spanning finance, membership strategy, operations, technology, partnerships, and organizational growth. Together with Hailey, she has developed Moss around the idea that a modern private club can be both a place of belonging and a dynamic platform for intellectual, social, and physical life. Her work focuses on how thoughtful hospitality, founder-led community building, and a deep understanding of member behavior can create enduring businesses and meaningful places in cities.
