Network in an intimate setting while getting a behind the scenes look at one of the latest projects from IHG’s Kimpton brand, led by representatives from Highgate, CRÉME, and Kimpton.
Modernist architect Morris Lapidus originally designed the building that is now home to the 364-room Kimpton Hotel Theta, and his handiwork continues to shine in this newest incarnation by Brooklyn-based firm CRÉME. Various zones comprise the lobby, including a cozy lounge with potted plants, a statement wall across from the entrance that showcases an abstract aerial park view, and corrugated concrete reception desks backdropped by vibrant artworks. Differentiating these areas are sculptural portals that nod to both Lapidus and artist Isamu Noguchi.

Join representatives from Hilton and Wimberly Interiors for an exclusive look at the inaugural outpost of Hilton’s recently launched lifestyle brand, Tempo.
Hilton kicked off its Tempo brand in an iconic location: Times Square. Taking cues from aviation, cartography, and photography, the 661-room hotel makes an impact upon arrival with a canopy and desks inspired by airplane fuselage. Corridors, swathed in walnut tambour walls, lead guests to hushed guestrooms accented with leather and metal that recall vintage luggage and original New York subway stations.

The 216-room boutique destination aims to reflect the neighborhood’s legacy as a mecca for mavericks, immigrants, and creators as well as its contemporary social scene. Distinguished by timeless architecture by Stonehill Taylor, the 11-story property features sundrenched interiors designed by BASILE Studio in collaboration with Lightstone Design Studio.
