
Alison Sobeck
Director of Interior Design, US & CanadaMarriottAlison is Director, Interior Design in Marriott International’s Global Design Collection Brands Studio, where she oversees the design and development of distinctive hotels across Marriott’s collection brands portfolio. In addition to supporting projects from concept through construction, she leads two key initiatives for the studio: Marriott’s Property Improvement Plan (PIP) writing program and the Recommended Designer Program, helping establish design standards and connect owners with best-in-class hospitality design firms.
Before joining Marriott in 2017, Alison built a career that uniquely blended marketing, communications, and design. She spent a decade in Silicon Valley leading public relations for technology companies before pursuing her passion for interior design, earning a degree from Parsons School of Design. She later worked on award-winning hospitality and luxury residential projects before founding her own interior design firm specializing in high-end residential renovations and commercial developments.
Alison brings a strategic, business-minded approach to design, combining storytelling, brand vision, and operational expertise to create memorable guest experiences and deliver lasting value for owners and Marriott.
