Vice President - Design & ConstructionAimbridge HospitalityWith more than 15 years of experience in hospitality design, construction, and project management, Denise Pickles has led the successful delivery of complex development and renovation initiatives across the industry. Her background includes opening 10 new-build hotels, overseeing more than 350 hotel projects, and delivering nine major rollercoaster developments during her career. Denise is known for aligning design, operational, and business priorities to execute projects that support both guest experience and long-term asset value.
As Senior Director of Design & Construction, Denise leads projects with a strong emphasis on strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and disciplined execution. She brings deep expertise in capital improvements, renovations, FF&E coordination, contract administration, and project closeout, and is recognized for driving clarity, accountability, and quality across every phase of delivery. Her approach balances design vision with operational functionality, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in alignment with organizational goals.
Prior to her current role, Denise served as Vice President of Project Management at Xenia Hotels & Resorts for 11 years and as Director of Design & Construction at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation for four years. Across these leadership positions, she has built a reputation for delivering high-impact projects, strengthening cross-functional partnerships, and advancing development strategies that support both brand standards and business performance.
