Kat Cuevas
Senior Interior DesignerDwellings, Inc.Kat holds a Master’s Certificate from the Heritage School of Interior Design in Denver and
brings an extensive background in leadership, coaching, and commercial hospitality
design. Over the past five years, she has worked across both independent and branded
hospitality properties, partnering with diverse ownership groups and navigating a wide
range of markets to create spaces that support property goals and respond to the evolving
needs of the hospitality industry.
Kat is passionate about the role of hospitality design in shaping meaningful and inspiring
human experiences. She views public spaces as invaluable settings for connection and
believes thoughtful, purposeful design can influence how people interact, gather, and
experience a place. Her approach combines strategic thinking, creativity, problem solving,
and a constant curiosity about how to achieve better desgub—from discovering new
sources of inspiration to exploring innovative ways to use technology and visualization
tools to bring concepts to life for clients.
Having lived in inspiring places including Spain, Seattle, Rome, and Washington, D.C., Kat
now calls Denver home, where she lives with her partner, two children, and the occasional
goldfish.
