Susan Nugraha

Susan Nugraha is the Senior Vice President of Design & Development at Tao Group Hospitality. A true creative at heart, Nugraha followed her lifelong passion to the Rhode Island School of Design in 2007. Shortly after graduating, she joined the Rockwell Group in New York City. As an Associate, Nugraha worked on various large-scale, high-profile hospitality projects including Tao Downtown, Vandal New York, Moxy Times Square, Gato Restaurant, Omnia Las Vegas Nightclub, and Omnia Bali Dayclub.

Her keen eye and artistic sensibility impressed the team at Tao Group Hospitality, and she officially joined the ranks in 2017. As an integral part of the design and development team, Nugraha has overseen more than 30 venue openings across New York, London, LA, Miami, Chicago, and Singapore.She has guided  the design for several of the group's most prestigious properties, including Omnia Dayclub Las Vegas, Crane Club, Peak and Avenue New York. Her expertise and knowledge of construction in the hospitality sector are unmatched and bring a creative edge to Tao Group Hospitality’s brand development.

Nugraha has been widely recognized as a visionary leader in the industry's design category, winning various awards and honors that include Hospitality Design magazine’s “Wave of the Future” in 2021. She holds a BFA in Interior Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and resides in New York City.
